The Partnership to Advance Learning in STEM (PALS) tutoring initiative is a no-cost program designed to mitigate the long-term effects of COVID-19 learning loss by pairing K-12 learners with preservice educator tutors.   The PALS program helps preservice educators gain valuable field experience in an online tutoring environment, while providing learners with critical academic support.   PALS aligns with Pennsylvania Department of Education guidelines for tutoring, and all sessions will be moderated and facilitated by ASSET and university staff.
