Ms. Toksu is currently the president of eBenefits, a UPMC company that provides high-tech benefits administration to human resources professionals. In this role, she has overall responsibility for eBenefits’ strategy, performance and team.

The three-year program is funded through the Foundation’s Math Professional Development Initiative.

PITTSBURGH—In response to the critical need to prepare students for STEM-related careers, ASSET STEM Education™ (Achieving Student Success through Excellence in Teaching) recently opened a new round of its STEM Scholarship Program. The national education improvement nonprofit hopes to raise $200,000 to award additional scholarships.

Dr. Williams is currently the Training and Project Specialist at Duquesne University. In this role, she develops, coordinates and facilitates training, leadership and professional development programs for University employees.

PITTSBURGH—ASSET STEM Education™ (Achieving Student Success through Excellence in Teaching) recently launched What does a scientist look like? to empower young people of all backgrounds to see themselves in STEM careers. Until December 1, STEM professionals, enthusiasts, educators, the public and any other individuals are encouraged to submit a photo or drawing of themselves to illustrate how anyone can be a scientist or STEM professional.
